Tinea versicolor is a skin condition caused by fungal infection.
The fungal infection affects the pigmentation of the skin resulting in small, scaly, white-to-pink or tan-to-dark spots.
Antifungal medications are helpful in treating this condition. But even after successfull treatment, it can recur.
