I just checked my Blood Pressure. It was 132 over 89 with a pulse rate of 115. I am concerned about the pulse rate. I had one slight dizzy spell earlier today but I thought it was vertigo, which I get sometimes. But when I was getting ready for bed, I could feel my heart racing, so I took the blood pressure test. Should I be concern?

I need to know some points regarding your query.

How is your usual blood pressure and pulse?

Do you have any chest pain or discomfort?

Do you have any other symptom or previous illness?

Thank you.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Mr rate is around 120 over 70 and the pulse rate is ussually less which is under 100. I feel tired and feel like I have been running a marithon. Have done no running. Earlier I had a dizzy spell that went away. No chest pains yet.
Thank you for the information,

The pulse should be below 100.

As your regular blood pressure is 120/70, now 132 over 89 is high.

Above all you are feeling tired, exhausted, though you do not have chest pain still you need to get an EKG to exclude any ischemia.

The feeling of tiredness, dizziness can be due to irregular pulse.

As the symptoms are persisting, you should consult doctor at ER for examination and investigations to find out the cause and early start of treatment if it is necessary.

I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.

Please feel free for any follow up query.

Best wishes.
