I have had unprotected sex in dec 2007 and May 2008. I have been tested for HIV in June 2010. My question to you is that if my test came out negative can i still be HIV positive. I still have fears about HIV.
Hello, and I am pleased to help, use of my answers are for educational purposes only.
If you tested NEGATIVE 2 years later, you are NOT infected with HIV from an experience in 2007/2008.

Are these tests accurate usually?
Yes, they are accurate because of how HIV is tested - the sensitivity is very high, so they are accurate tests.
