Where is the Peritrigonal region of the brain? OK to use medical terms, I am a nurse.

The trigone generally refers to the ventricular system of the brain. It is where the temporal horn of the lateral ventricle connects with the posterior horn and the main lateral ventricle in the brain.
So the peritrigonal area would be the area of brain that surrounds the trigone of the ventricle. It would correspond to what is labelled as the "atrium" in the picture below.
