Hello,

What is your question regarding diverticulosis?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Dr. Abby just wondering what the 562.10 means?

Thank you for clarifying,

The 562.10 is the diagnosis code for diverticulosis.
These numbers are ICD codes used to classify different diseases.

Let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to discuss,

Sorry but is the Diagnosis Code of 562.10 - like hig, normal low...???

I can understand how it can seem like it may indicate a certain amount, but it doesn't.

It does not indicate an amount. It is the code for "diverticulosis of the colon, without hemorrhage" meaning there is no bleeding.

It simply means that you have diverticulosis.
The doctor that did the colonoscopy will have to tell you how extensive the amount of diverticulosis is.
