Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

I would like to ask you a few questions in order for me to understand your situation better.

1) For how long are you having these problems and how did it start off?

2) Are you diabetic?

3) Checked in with a doctor for this? Any tests/ investigations?

4) Any other medical issues/ significant history?

Thanks. Shall be waiting for your reply.

Have noticed some pain in hand a couple weeks ago. Also experienced pain in shoulder, and hips. Not nearly as bad as tonight. I am not diabetic. I checked in with a doctor and she ran several blood tests, She sent me to see a RA doctor. He exrayed hips and shoulders and said they showed nothing significant, but gave me a shot in my right hip.
Pain has been tolerable till tonight. No other pain except the fingers on my right hand are extremely painful now and as I said, some minor pain radiates up into my arm..

I do have some arthritis, and have had a mastectomy 4 years ago but all clear so far.

Thanks for the additional details. It seems that we might be dealing with “cellulitis” out here.

Having said that, the other possibilities out here could be:

(a) Tenosinovitis

(b) Tendonitis

(c) Carpal tunnel syndrome

Please check in with your doctor and get yourself examined thoroughly so that a cause could be detected which would direct appropriate management.

I hope that this helps. Best wishes. Please feel free to enquire if you have any remaining concerns/ doubts, as it shall be a privilege and a pleasure to try and help as much as I can.
