Resolved Question:

My son is almost 17 months old. On 21 October he received a flu shot (only 1/2) and he immediatedly showed signs of a cold. He is still sneezing and coughing (a little). His nose runs all the time. Is this normal for a flu shot?

Welcome to justanswer,

The flu shot may cause the symptoms of fever, muscle pain and sore throat in some cases. It is due to the body's immune response and is treated symptomatically.

You may give him tylenol for the control of fever and benadryl for controlling the allergy symptoms.
