i just had bunion surgery..what type of shoe should i wear until the swelling goes down

during the six-to-eight-week recovery period, a special shoe, boot, or cast may be worn to accommodate the surgical bandage and to help provide stability to the foot that underwent the bunionectomy. later on tennis shoes / flat shoes can be worn.
