i have noticed a small bubble like lump just underneath the skin of my vagina.. i think it is the inner labia (just where the hair stops growing near my clitoris). it is not painful, but when i press the skin around i can see that is is dark in colour
Hello.
This seems likely to be a bartholin gland cyst. This lump develops from blockage of one of the Bartholin's glands, which are small glands located on each side of the opening to the vagina. Your primary care physician or gynecologist would consider a surgical treatment in the form of incision and drainage, irrigation with antibiotic solution, and packing it loosely, if it becomes painful or becomes an abscess. Warm compresses or warm sitz bath, with Motrin three times a day, may help, rupturing and resolving on its own.

Hello,
