we have just driven 2800 miles across country a week ago and have been under much stress that i don't show openly.
Ok, thanks for the detailed information that you added.
I do not think you have a loose hair in the inner ear. However, ear wax build up can cause dizziness as you have described. Something adding the ear wax removal drops (Debrox) will sometimes cause dizziness as well.
However, you could be experiencing some inner ear trouble all on it's own. Vertigo is often caused by a problem dealing with the inner ear. There is a also condition called Meniere's disease that can cause dizziness, however, Meniere's often causes ringing in the ears as well.
Other causes of dizziness could be dehydration, discontinuation of anti-depressant type medications, an oncoming viral infections, migraines, cardiac dsyrhythmias, diabetes, certain medications, decreased blood flow to the brain, and even conditions like MS.
There is also a disorder called Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo that will cause dizziness and is associated with inner ear disorders as well.
Meclizine is often prescribed for cases in which the cause for the dizziness is unknown.
The medications you listed can all cause dizziness as a side effect, so if you've been taking them for quite some time with no dizziness, I would say this is a least likely culprit.
Your stress level might be playing a role in your symptoms as well. I would suggest that you try and rest since you are through with your long drive and see if you feel better soon. If not, you will ultimately have to see your Dr for some testing.
Hope you feel better soon and reply back if you need any clarification or more info.
