pain never goes up my oesophagus only through to my back

Resolved Question:

I am on nexium 40 mg, I went to 20mg but the pain was too bad to put up with. I have reflux but the pain never goes up my oesophagus only through to my back. Should I be taking iron tablets to combat the feeling of complete tiredness. I'm told the reflux is due to having had 4 children.

Anemia can cause the feeling of tiredness.

This can also come from many other causes.

These can be chronic infection, thyroid disorder, diabetes, & heart disorders, sleep problems like sleep apnea, stress, depression , chronic fatigue syndrome & others.

You should get your blood tested & if there is anemia due to iron deficiency, then only iron tablets will help.

I hope this information will be helpful.

Please ask if you need any clarification.

Best wishes.
