I am a diabetic on insulin. Injections sine the age of 9.
Yes sweats at night.
I take simvatatin before bed.
In the morning i take Bisoprolol, Candestartan, Lansoprazole and Paroxetine.
I am not losing weight.
Thanks for the extra information. Night sweats in diabetes may sugest hypoglycaemia overnnight and so increase blood sugar monitoring for a week or two to get a better idea of your control
It is also important to have thyroid function tests monitored too.
Other causes of night sweats include lung problems such as TB or fungal infection, however this is less likely in your case but a chest x-ray may be needed if you have had any cough. The lack of weight loss suggests that there is not a sinister problem behind the sweats however it is something that does need investigation.
