I have had 2 valve replacement surgeries to replace my aortic valve. I am 36 years old and today I am hurting in my chest and upper back. It hurts worse if I bend over and feels like there is something in my chest going to explode. I don't know what to do. Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX

How long has this been going on? Minutes? Hours? Days?Is this a tearing sensation? How is your blood pressure? Is this a sudden, new pain for you?
I have noticed it only since this morning and it seems to be getting more noticeable. No, not tearing Yes, this is a new pain for me I don't have a blood pressure cuff I also feel a thumping at the bottom of my neck/top of my sternum when bending as well.
OK.Considering this is a new pain -- and that you, at your young age have had significant heart surgery -- this new chest pain that also involves your back is concerning for an issue with the heart, or the aorta, as that classically is middle of the chest pain radiating to the back.Given that this is a new pain for you -- you should be evaluated in the emergency room.It would be impossible for anyone on the Internet to know what is going on, and evaluation of chest pain in a patient with a history of aortic valve replacement x 2 needs to be done in person, with an exam, chest xray, EKG, cardiac enzymes and other tests like an echocardiogram if necessary.
