About a year ago I was caught between two cars that very slowly came together and squashed me. Both of my thighs had a good amount of pressure for about ten seconds. He didn’t hurt right afterwards but in the next forty-eight hour both sides became very bruised and I had trouble walking fast. Eventually the bruising and stiffness faded and now I am completely back to normal except for a soft lump on one of my thighs where the bruise used to be. It feels soft like fat and doesn’t hurt at all even if I press hard on it. Will the lump be permanent? Should I see a doctor? Thanks
Hello,What is the exact location? When did it develop? Is it present for one year?Is it enlarging? Is there any pain / tenderness/ redness? Did you have any test or treatment? Thank you.
Location is the outer upper thigh, left leg
It developed about forty-eight hours after the incident, approximately one year ago.
It has been present for a little over a year
It has not changed in size
No pain or redness at all......it feel like fatty tissue.
No test or treatment have been preformed.
Thank you for the information,This can be due to organised healed bruise with formation of fibrous tissue. The other probability is lipoma or collection of fat cells,It is unlikley to fade away completely of its own.You need to get it examined by doctor.I hope this information will be helpful. Please ask if you need any clarification.Best wishes.
Are any of the possibilities you presented serious?
Thanks
No , usually these are benign conditions.
