I am hurting in my lower right back side of my back, have sharp pains in my lower pelvic area, not consident. If I am sitting strat up or lean to the side the pain in increabile. I have had an x-ray done for kidney stones, they say none is being seen, but I have a large amount of scar tissue build up with can't be seen thru x-ray, correct? Could I have a stone and it is just not being seen due to the tissue? I also have buring bad burning during and after. Do you have any answers, I have been to several doctors in the same town and I am getting the same answer, " We don't see anything wrong", well why am I have such discomfort?

Do you have any burning while passing urine ? Have you had any other tests ? Since when do you have this symptom ? Do you have any fever / diarrhea / constipation ? Regards,
Burning, yes, I have had several test done. Surgeries, left ovary removed @ 18, two c-sections, 20 & 22, several laparosophy, gallbladder removed.
Hello, This can be a Kidney / Urinary tract infection or even a small stone that is not seen on the X ray, that is causing these lower back / pelvic pains. This can also be a pinched nerve / Lumbar Spondylosis that is causing the pain. This can also be scar tissue that is causing these pains. I would advise you to have a CT scan of your Abdomen and Pelvis to look for these, that should help you find the cause of your pain and it can be treated accordingly. I have had an MRI done and CT scan done on my Abdomen and Pelvis. The results come back normal. I have taken bactricam(?) for my UT infection.
If it is a pinched nerve shouldn't that have showed up on the MRI or CT scan?
Also if it is scar tissue, which that has been mentioned before is there anything that can be done for it besides another laporsphy?
I also have yeast infections, its as if they never clear up.
Please is there any other answers or advice as to where I can go get help, I am in so much PAIN!
Hello -
The key question here -- did you have a MRI done on the abdomen/pelvis, or was it done specifically for the lumbar spine?
Abdomen/pelvis
Is there a charge for each question I ask?
No, there is only a charge, if you hit the "ACCEPT" button next to an answer that you feel is worth it.
OK.
As you are having symptoms of pain that are in the back, that radiate forward toward the pelvis (and having other abdominal issues already ruled out) -- it would seem that a good test for you would be a MRI of the lumbar spine.
The MRI of the abdomen and pelvis does not visualize the lumbar spine very well, and so a "pinched" nerve in the back could easily be missed, as the MRI scan is not "centered" on the spine.
And if it is adhesions causing the pain -- the only real answer to that is the lysis of adhesions surgery. But your back pain radiating to the pelvis sounds as if it could be the "pinched" nerve, so ask your doctors about a MRI of the lumbar spine.
