Dear: Doctors This is a very inbarising moment for me, i"m on a verge of devorce. Never seen a urologist, just a family doctor. About three month ago when takeing medication. Don"t smoke, yes i do have high blood pressure. Not a diabetic .I take topol only for blood pressure.No other kinds of medication.

HiErectile dysfunction is a classic side effect of topol - I am genuinely shocked that your own Dr has not pointed that out to you.I suggest that you switch to a more modern treatment for your BP such as an ACE inhibitor - I would expect your symptoms to improve once you get off the topol.Dr JefPS - beta blockers such as topol are now considered 5th line treatment for high blood pressure.

But , my real question is this has been going on for 15 years, the last three years has only been with the topol pills.So, could the rod insurged in me years ago still could of had a effect with this problem or not.
