My daughter is almost 3 years old. Right now she has a temperature of 100.4 degrees and we gave her children't tylanol about 2 hours ago. Earlier today she was throwing up. Is this just a common flu or something more I need to worry about?
Gender: FemaleAge: 2 yr 11 mo. Already Tried: around 7 pm we gave her children's peptobismal and around 9 we gave her children't tylanol.
Hello,Is she throwing up now?Is she stable and well oriented?Sore throat, running nose, cough, diarrhea, fatigue?Chills with fever?Since how long has she been suffering from?
She just barely threw-up... we are still cleaning it up. She knows where she is and who we are. She has complained of a sore stomach. I have guessed her throat to be sore from the way she talks. I can't tell about chills, it doesn't seem like it. She just got sick today. She threw up for the first time around 5:30 pm.
Hello,As you describe there may be following possibilities in her case.Strept throat if she has sore throat associated with fever and vomiting.Viral gastoenteritis. It is advised to make her hydrated. You should give her oral rehydration solution (Pedialyte). You should give her Posphorylated carbohydrate solution-Emetrol ( mixture of sugar syrups and phosphoric acid calms nausea and vomiting ).You should give her clear liquid diet.It is advised to consult a pediatrician if her fever and vomiting 'll not improve .
