Hello,

Welcome to Just Answer and thanks for your question. eGFR is estimated glomerular filtration rate, which is a calculated number based on age, sex, race, and serum creatinine results. The AA stands for African American and the C stands for Caucasian. The eGFR isn't very good at diagnosing kidney disease; 24-hour urine collection is much better. But for someone with known kidney disease, it can track changes in kidney function.
