At her birthday she left her cellphone with my husband and said goodbye forever. We stood there like idiots and we had her birthday planned we wanted to give her college money for a whole year. I've been fighting so hard to have a relationship with her and to make the family work thoug my oldest daughter always started fights with her younger sister and she got nervous and it was so much turbulense. I feel like a failure and I cry a lot Have a hard time to think and I am not sure I want to be around here at all

Hy.
I understand what you must be going through. It is not an easy job .
If your daughter was diagnosed with bipolar, was she put on drug and behavioral therapy by any professional?

yes she was put on medication and it was easier to be around her but her boyfriend which sheis living with now has convinced her that she doesnt need any medications and she is doing well at work and seems to get better grades at the college/ Butbe around her is a nightmare
It is for the therapist to decide whether she needs to be put on meds or not. Many times a short course of antideps /lithium works well in controlling symptoms, I think thats what has happened. its good , if she is really doing well, but she needs to be put on supervision by family and peers.
i think you should also take her bf into confidence, .after all , we are trying to help a sick child and its wrong to allow personal emotions to come in the way.
