I have a pain that is sharp in my left side below my rib cage. What could this be?
Gender: MaleAge: 59 Already Tried: no treatment
your age, medical problems, any nausea or sweating with it.. when do you get the pain on exertion or during rest? any radiation to arms or jaw. history of acid reflux.. does pressing on it produces similar pain......
Yes it is very sore. I have some nausea but not to the extend of throwing up. Also in the past I have had acid reflux but not recently. When I move it has morfe pain. There is no bruising in the area.
well then this is musculoskeletal pain and you would need pain medicines. please take prilosec OTC with ranitidine for acid reflux. use pain medicines like advil/aleeve for pain. you would also need an EKG to make sure its not heart related issue though less likely. you can take phenergan for nausea.
