HI about a month and a 1/2 ago i got an upper endoscopy done and they told me i have a fungul infection in the esophagus which i guess its called candadis. I have been feeling like a sensation of something stuck in my throat.. I was taking fluconazole 100mg 1x daily for 2 weeks and it felt better and the gi doctor just prescribed prilosec otc for the heartburn. Now i am feeling the sensation of something is stuck in my throat again and i made an appointment with the gi but its for 2 weeks i just wanted to know if there any home remedies and if my throat will close with this problem

throat will not close. you need to take prilosec twice a day instead of once daily as acid reflux can give similar findings.it. will also be advisable to call the doctor office and ask for fluconazole prescription. 2 weeks seem to be a relatively longer wait time.
