I'm a little paranoid about having appendisitis since i was in the hospital two weeks ago and they thought I had it. Turns out, it was an ovarian cyst. Right now, I am having a dull cramping sensation to the right of my belly button. I have had it for about 2-2.5 hours. Im still eating, not nauseas, no fever. It almost feels like that stomach cramping that you get if you drink water and then go for a run. Should I be concerned? It does not hurt when i push on it (just slight pressure) cough or walk around.

Hello and welcome. Thank you for your question. Your discomfort could be coming from the appendix or another/or the same ovarian cyst, if the original problem was on the right side. The only way to tell is to go to the emergency room if you experience any more pain, become nauseated or develop fever. I sincerely XXXXX XXXXX answers your question. If it was the appendix wouldnt my pain be more severe accompanied with a fever and nausea? Its a dull ache that comes and goes. Im sorry to ask more questions. But, without insurance I would prefere to stay away from the hospital unless neccesary.
Right. I understand. So if the pain gets worse, or if you develop the other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or fever. Otherwise, you can follow the protocol the hospital gave you for the ovarian cyst. Thank you. I wish you the best.
