Customer Question

Hello my name is XXXXX XXXXX X have had pain in my lower abdomen for a little over 2 years now. A couple years ago I bent over and It felt like something was bulging out so I had to lay flat on my back for about 5 mins till the severe pain went away since then that pain has never been back but other symptoms have come. I am an athletic person who works out very hard so it leads me to believe its a hernia. But i have noticed an increase in gas and after I work out hard it hurts in my lower abdomen area and it actually feels like it hurts under my testiclesI used to think I might be testicular cancer but the testicles dont actually hurt . And lately I have noticed pain in my upper back and chest area sometimes. I dont have medical insurance or I would have gone to the doc a long time ago but I do need to see how serious this is. I really appreciate it.

Hello,

Welcome to Just Answer and thanks for your question. The long-term pain is probably a hernia. Treatment is almost always surgery, especially if you are not going to be sedentary. Upper back and chest pain could be from overworking those muscles, gall bladder referred pain, etc. The link below will take you to a site where you can put in your state and see what free clinics are near you where you can receive help. There are also usually sliding-fee clinics in many cities and rural areas for those who do not have insurance.

As I mentioned, the upper back and chest pain could be from overworking those muscles, gall bladder referred pain, etc. It can also be indigestion, heartburn, etc. There is no way to tell without an exam or tests. Free clinics are affordable. There are at least a dozen of them in Florida.

If it's a hernia, it is not unexpected that it hurts after intercourse.
