Ask Your Health Question and Get an Answer ASAP
Hi, Thank you for contacting Just Answer. Since you apparently had a high fever last night and the lymph gland continues to get larger I think you should contact your MD or the PA regarding the new symptoms. You should take your temperature so you and the MD have some idea how high it is.. I'm not sure what the bean size enlargement below the waist could be.
If there is an Urgent care open tomorrow you should be seen there if you have not seen some improvement and have not spoken to your MD
If you have a fever >102.5 or begin chilling you should be seen in ED if no Urgent care is available.
Drink plenty of fluids, take a over counter meds like ASA or Tylenol to control the temperature. Ice packs can be placed in your underarms to help reduce the temp.
Be sure to continue your antibiotics as ordered.
