A couple days ago I had a severe pain in the palm of my left hand after driving my car when I opened my hand it hurt horribly at the base of my two middle fingers when I staightened my fingers and then when I pushed on the are that elicited pain also, lasted a few minutes and went away, now palms of both of my hands are "achy" in the center They feel sore as if I have had my fists clenched tight for a long time. I am 42 years old and have no health problems that I am aware of. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

Hello, Welcome to just answer, It seem normal but can not be said with 100 percent surety without examination in person. This pain occur due to prolong use and contraction of muscles which leads to acculmulation of lactic acid and depletion of energy. This usually goes with rest and with some hand exercises. Do not worry just relax. If this occur again and again with little work then please visit your doctor otherwise just relax. Thanks
