I am 37 years old and 28 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child.

Resolved Question:

I am 37 years old and 28 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I started having ectopics beats 4 days ago and had them confirmed by ECG. Doctor and ECG technician said they were normal and could be pregnancy related. I also suffer from anxiety and panic attacks going back 20 years, for which i am having CBT for. My question is are these ectopic beats normal in pregnancy and are they supposed to last this long. I have some tightness in my chest, but this feels very similar to those when suffering anxiety.

Was an ECHO done? Were any blood tests done?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
I had an ecg which showed ectopics. told nothing to worry about and sent home. due to see midwife on friday for routine 28 week full blood count.

Yes these could be pregnancy related; or anxiety related. Even anemia or a low blood hemoglobin value.

But a heart cause needs to ruled out for sure - since you are having multiple symptoms - anxiety; chest tightness and ectopic beats.

An ECHO would be the most helpful here; and of course getting a full blood count to rule out anemia.
