Exploding tongue when asleep at night.

This answer was rated:

Please help as its leaving me really miserable!!!. It happens when asleep or going to sleep. something explodes on my tongue at front or to the side, the pain is very immense. There are no spots or lumps visible, but afterwards it leaves a huge crater that is swollen and sore which reduces to a white hole. The only medication im on is citalopram, if this helps.

Hi,

What is you age and sex?

How long have you been on Citalopram and for what indication?

Can you upload a picture of the tongue lesion?
