Hello,

Greetings,

The symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency varies with the age. In children it is known as rickets when it can cause bowing of legs, knock knees, frontal bossing of skull & pigeon breast. In adults it causes osteomalacia where it can cause bone pain & muscle weakness. Bone pain is usually dull & is felt in lower spine, pelvis and legs and feet. There can be tenderness too. Muscle weakness is common & is felt in arms and legs, with decreased muscle tone and discomfort while walking & moving.

Hope this information will help you.
