my 5 year old was scratched by a duck. Is there any cause for concern?

Hi,

Could you describe the site of the scratch?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
she was trying to catch one of her baby ducks and the mom flew onto my daughter and scatched her leg in a couple different places.

Are there any visible marks? What do they look like? Was there any bleeding?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
yes there was some bleeding. Looks like scratches you would get from a dog ar a cat. Just want to know if there are any diseases she could possibly get. thank you

When was she given a tetanus shot?

Well you just need to wash the site with soap and water and keep it moisturised. Apply calamine lotion if there is itching and make the child wear lose comfortable clothes to cover the site - so that the scab formed is not peeled.

I have tried to give an extensive answer, however please let me know if you need any other information.
