How long are you having this?

Did you have any test or treatment?

Did you have any previous illness?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

This has been going on for about three weeks now. It started with a burning sensation like cystitis,I have been prescribed with two different antibiotics and I have finished both courses of treatment but the problem carries on.

I have had cystitis in the past but it has improved recently

Thank you or the information.

There are a few causes of feeling frequency in the urine.

Infection of the bladder or cystitis is the most common cause.

Stone in the urinary system may also cause irritation & urge to urinate.

Other cause can be from urethral syndrome . In this condition no infection can be found.

A definite cause is not known. The causes supposed to be are hormonal imbalances, reaction to food, or chemicals like douches ,soaps, ,dysfunction of pelvic floor muscles etc

You need to do further investigation to find out the cause.

Repeat urine culture, Ultrasonography,or imaging studies can be done.

A consultation with an urologist can be taken.

I hope this information will be helpful.

Please ask if you need any clarification.

Best wishes.
