Does she have a fever / pus oozing out / pain / tenderness over the area ?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
no fever - some pus from the white heads - slight discomfort

Since she is a diabetic, it would be advisable to have this evaluated by her doctor as this infection can flare up and get aggravated because of her diabetic status.

I would also suggest getting a blood sugar test done.

Kind Regards,

So is this a common infection?
Expert:  Dr.Saurabh Joshi replied 8 years ago.
This is most probably a simple bacterial infection of the skin in her armpits.

Her diabetic status makes an evaluation necessary as a simple infection can become worse and thus difficult to treat because of the increased blood sugars.
