is it safe to mix xanax bars with some vicodin
Age: 22; Male, New York Already Tried: well i have been taking the xanax bars for a little while the ones that say g3722, but my lower back is in terrible pain and i bought these vicodin pills from my boy that say m360 on them....so i just took about 3 of the xanax bars and i was wondering if i broke off just a little pinch off the vic and took it will i be ok thats all.....thank you

well to be honest here neither one of these have been prescribed by a doctor....in new york city if you have no health insurance you tend to visit the "street pharmacists" for help if ya know what i mean...so in general i'm asking is it a dangerous thing to mix these 2 things together
I only hope your "street pharmacists" have sold you what you think you have and not something with contaminants in it. The two drugs are prescribed together if someone has both anxiety and pain. Overdosing is possible, particularly if you don't know for sure what it is you have, or its strength. Xanax is usually given 0.25 mg to 0.50 mg three times a day. If it is extended release (XR) it is given 0.5-1.0 mg once a day in the morning. Vicodin 5/500 is given 1-2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours with a maximum of 8 tablets per day.
the xanax i have i the bars that say g3722 on them and they are broken into fours, the vicodin i have is the ones that say m360 on it, now i took 3 xanax bars in the space of about 3 hours and i feel relaxed but my back hurts like a mother you know what, so if i take a small little spec of this vicodin will i be ok?? thats the question, because i dont want a heath ledger incident to happen, ya know what i mean? So will a small amount of vicodin taken after xanax bars were taken do any damage..i'm home in a safe place tryin to create some music and i need to be comfortable so i'm sitting here staring at this little chip of a vicodin wanting to take it but i'm nervouse because i also took some xanax, so should i be worried? is it a serious threat? thats the question.

Good grief, the Xanax you have is 2 mg each. Taking 3 in 3 hours is an overdose all in itself. You have taken more than a total day's maximum dose (4 mg) of the Xanax alone. You certainly don't want to take Vicodin along with this. You can only take these two medications together when you follow the instructions as to dosage. The Vicodin you have is 7.5/750. This is not a safe thing to do. If you feel yourself getting unusually sleepy, or have problems breathing, you should go to the ER.
