Cyst of kidney can be congenital or acquired. Acquired cyst can be found in the elderly people above 50 years of age. They are mostly benign or noncancerous. When the people get older, there can form sac filled with fluid. Usually they are found incidentally during other procedure. Usually they do not produce any symptoms, harmless. If it gets larger and causes symptoms, then it should be evaluated by urologist.
