Do you mean blood in the stool?

And is this bright red, dark red, or black stools?

Is there a lot of blood (e.g. the whole stool is covered in blood) or just streaks?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
yes blood in the stool, bright red, started as the whole stool but now just streaks

Do you know if you have hemorrhoids?

And are you in any way lightheaded, or feel otherwise unwell?

As you are offline, I will answer here.

Because you had a signficant amount of blood in the stool, this should be investigated by your doctor.

He will need to do a physical exam of the anal / rectal region, and if no obvious cause found, look with an endoscope (colonoscopy) to find the source of bleeding.

There are several reasons why bright red blood can be found in the stools, including:

blood vessel malformations
colon polyps / cancer (probably not bright red blood, but more occult blood)

Regardless, this needs to be investigated and the cause found for treatment.
