what does it mean when you have sharp pain in your anus (the pain is like only on one side like I'm trying to push a rock out but can't) when you are pooping

How long do you feel it?

Does it occur every time you pass stool?

Is there any bleeding?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.

Thank you for the information,

From your symptoms it seems like that you have a fissure in the anus.

Fissure usually causes acute pain , sometimes a small bleeding.

The other causes can be any infection or inflammation.

You should have an examination by doctor.

I hope this information will help.

Please ask if you need any clarification.

Best wishes.

Is there not a way I can tell if it's a infection or inflammation or Fissure??
From your symptoms it sounds more like a fissure than an infection or inflammation. However without examination it can not be certain.
