can i fly with shingles
Optional Information: Age: 60; Male Already Tried: just diagnosed
If the rash can be covered with clothing or dressings, then there should be no reason not to fly.The shingles can be contagious to those not previously immune to the virus : varicella zoster, and can be transmitted to such people if they have direct contact with the blistering rash or are close enough to inhale any viral particles from the skin.Covering the rash should keep other potential people safe from infection.
