What does a white dot mean on your breast nipple

Resolved Question:

What does a white dot mean on your breast nipple?

Do they sorts look like goosebumps? Do they become more noticeable when your nipples protrude? I'd be willing to bet you that they are montgomery glands(tubercles or areolar glands). They are normal and nothing to be concerned about if they do not cause pain, leak fluid, and aren't swollen and/or red. If you are concerned about them in any way, please have them looked at by your doctor. Thanks for your question - I'm sure that there are many women out there who have been wondering like yourself.

there is only one white spot right in the middle of the nipple. does this mean the same as what you just said about goosebumps?
