Yes- this would be expired and should be disposed of. It is never safe to take medications that are expired. Expired medications can either have no effect at all as they have degraded, or they may become toxic as they degrade. The dangers of taking expired medications far outweigh the benefits. Your best bet is to dispose of it by bringing it to your pharmacy. Some pharmacies have drives where they collect expired or unused medications. If your pharmacy doesn't have something like this, they will still take the medication and have it disposed of properly.
