Does Baclofen work for Restless Leg

This answer was rated:

Does Baclofen work for Restless Leg?
Baclofen is a medication that works well to help prevent muscle spasms.

If you are having spacsticity of your legs, this medication may work very well for that condition.

However, if your "restless leg syndrome" was not responsive to requip or mirapex, perhaps it is not restless leg syndrome at all. The oils that you can rub on the leg are not likely to help too much, but aren't likely to hurt you as well, so there is no harm in trying those therapies.

Spacsticity means spasms essentially - if you have painful leg spasms, baclofen can work to help prevent those spasms.
