for the last 2 weeks i have been having tightening in my upper left arm which sends tingles down the left arm right to the tips of my left hand. Is this a heart attack symptom?

Thank you for using Justanswer for your concern.

This could be a nerve compression or other problem, or it could be symptoms of cardiovascular disease. Because we cannot examine you, and also because especially woman have unusual cardiac symptoms some times (and cardiac disease is the number one killer of women, higher than breast cancer) and don't realize it, I recommend you go to an Urgent Care clinic or an ER today. If this is cardiac, it is so important to catch it early than to wait.
