I AM A 10 YEAR TYPE II DIABETIC,ON PILLS ,I HAVE NOW BEEN TOLD TO START TAKING A MEDICINE WHICH APPARENTLY PROTECTS MY KIDNEYS....THE NAME OF THE MEDICINE IS "LISINOPRIL"...I BELIEVE THAT TO BE A GENERIC NAME AND AM WONDERING WHY ,SINCE I HAVE NO DAMAGE SHOULD I TAKE THIS ,IT SAYS IT IS FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE ...WHICH I DONT HAVE
