Sorry for delay in answering your query for my internet problem.

The symptoms of hiatus hernia & ulcer include pain in the upper abdomen , indigestion, central chest pain , belching , vomiting etc.

The symptoms of hiatus hernia are increased when you lie down or stoop forward.

You can read these links for more information about these conditions.

Ibuprofen can cause ulcer which your doctor probably told you.

You should take ibuprofen after food to lessen the injurious effect of ibuprofen on gastric or stomach lining.

I hope this information will be helpful.

Please ask if you need any clarification.

Best wishes.
