one of my toenails has seprated form my toe and come completely off. What should i do to keep infection out and should i see a doctor??

Well you did exactly what you were suppose to do.


if this was do to an injury and not an infection then you really don't need to see the doctor.


If your toe swells, throbs, becomes hot or has drainage do see your doctor asap.


Continue to keep it covered with a bandaid to protect the tender area and also continue with the ointment.


It can take a few months to grow completely back.
