I ws in the hospital a week ago because I couldn't walk without assitance, the doctors thought I had a stroke, but I didn't. They are saying it is some kind of ataxia, where do I go from here? Thank you for using JustAnswer.

There are so many causes of ataxia and it needs careful clinical examination and evaluation by tests to get to the underlying cause.

Sometimes no apparent cause is identified.

I will suggest you to consult with local neurologist for complete diagnositic evlaluation.
