Your symptoms suggest of umblical or paraumblical hernia.This is a protrusion or a bulge of the organs inside the abdomen through the umbilical ring(near belly button)or part of the abdominal organ(s) through the area around the belly button.It occurs due to weak abdominal muscles.

It is diagnosed by physical examination.In adults umbilical hernias cannot "heal" and gradually increase in size, often becoming progressively problematic as they enlarge. Incarceration or Strangulation can also occur.I advice you to see your doctor for phyical examination & see if surgical repair is required.
