This could be an upper respiratory tract infection with pharyngitis/tonsillitis . You need to consult a physician or ear nose thoat specialist for evaluation, accurate diagnosis & treatment. An ear infection would also need to be looked for.
Evaluation may include blood work , rapid streptococcal test, pharyngeal swabs for culture & antibiotic sensitivity & possibly chest x-ray if lower respiratory tract infection suspected. Treatment includes plenty of fluids orally, warm salt water gargles, steam ingalation or humidifier, tylenol for pain/fever, oral antibiotics if bacterial infection, antihistaminics like benadryl for congestion.
