Thank you for the information.

From the history it appears that the cause of your symptoms may be due to decrease in blood supply to the affected parts associated with position.

As you are having hypertension you may be having atherosclerosis of the arteries there.

This may be causing decrease in blood supply from narrowing the arteries.

With the shaking off the blood supply may be restored or increased relieving the symptoms.

Sometimes pressure on the nerves or neuropathy may cause it but it is unlikely to disappear with shaking.

You may check your blood lipid levels & doppler studies of the arteries there.

I hope this will help. If you need clarifications, please ask.

I don't know what atheroclerosis is and would checking my blood lipid levels and doppler studies correct the problem?
Expert:  Dr. Saha replied 8 years ago.
Atherosclerosis is the deposition of lipid or fat in the walls of the arteries. This fat deposition leads to narrowing of the lumen of the arteries.

Blood lipid which includes cholesterol & others if raised leads to its deposition in the walls of the arteries. If lipids are found high then lipid lowering drugs are prescribed.

Doppler flow studies are also used to diagnose any narrowing in blood flow.
