Greetings.

What are the specialists you have consulted? What investigations have been done? Any significant past medical or surgical history? Any major family history? How is you appetite? Any weight loss or gain, since these symptoms appeared?

Hello,

There are various possibilities for this;

1) Thyroid disorders; hyperthyroidism

2) Chronic fatigue syndrome

3) Fibromyalgia

4) Post viral fatigue

Although internet is not advocated for searching the diagnosis because it can give some scary information as it does not give the diagnosis on the basis of individuals and in the order of commoner ailment, still can be helpful sometimes. Please let me know what is your suspicion, so we can discuss this out.

Feel free for your follow up questions.

I personally think that I am anemic.
Expert:  Dr. Arun Phophalia replied 8 years ago.

Hello,

I agree that weakness and tiredness can be part of the anemia presentation. Bodyache needs some other explanation.

Do you have heavy periods or reasons to be anemic?

my body just aches, the joints, just like when you have the flu.
Expert:  Dr. Arun Phophalia replied 8 years ago.

Hi,

Yes, worth investigating. A blood work would be able to identify the anemia and its type. A blood loss or hemorrhagic anemia has a typical picture in the blood work. I would also advice to get an ultrasound of the abdomen done to know the cause of heavy bleeding. Hormonal disorder of ovaries and thyroid can also cause heavy periods so a blood work for investigating them would be prudent. These hormonal disorders can be responsible for the flu like symptoms and bodyache.
