It sounds like you may have vertigo and should have this evaluated by a doctor, interist or neurologist, to evalaute the cause. The fact that you have felt light headed and dizzy and have this numbness and tingling is concerning and suggests that you should be evaluated as soon as possible. I hope this is helpful and please let me know if you have more questions.
I would certainly still see your doctor who will likely evaluate your thyroid as well. These symptoms sound like they may be consistent with an underactive thyroid and here is a link with more information: http://www.uptodate.com/patients/content/topic.do?topicKey=endocrin/8039
Thank you for your explanation; this helps. I would recommended seeking assistance in the emergency room because the most dangerous possibility is that you have a bacterial meningitis that would require urgent treatment. The headache, nausea, and feverish symptoms is consistent with this. While hopefully this is not the case, and the fact that you are well enough to type this information makes this less likely, it cannot be ruled out without evaluating you in person. The more likely possiblity is that you have a viral syndrome, however since it cannot be properly evaluated without a physical examination, I would suggest that you go to the emergency room to be evaluated in case you do require urgent care.
It's my pleasure - I hope you are able to get medical attention and I hope you feel better.
