Your symptoms of dry mouth and frequent urination is very likely to be associated with diabetes mellitus type-2. (medical terms for this is polydypsia, which means thirsty and polyuria meaning frequent urination). So with already diagnosed condition, you need to get your blood sugar rechecked and try the other medications. If the medications don't suit you, and your sugar cannot be controlled on the regime of diet and exercise, your doctor may decide to put you on insulin.
